Teosyal RHA 2 is a transparent, sterile, and injectable gel made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. This product is used on moderate wrinkles and skin depressions to restore smooth texture to aging skin. It also contains lidocaine hydrochloride for its anesthetic properties, making each procedure comfortable for your patients. Only authorized personnel in accordance with local regulations should administer Teosyal injections.

What are the benefits of this product?

Teosyal RHA 2 contains resilient hyaluronic acid. This form of hyaluronic acid possesses rheological properties that enable it to perform superiorly in mobile areas of the face, such as the perioral area or the cheeks. The results conferred by Teosyal are much longer lasting than other hyaluronic acid fillers, as these products move in concert with the face to minimize degradation. Moreover, treatment with Teosyal is generally painless due to its lidocaine content.

How does this product work?

Hyaluronic acid can absorb up to about 1,000 times its weight in water molecules. As such, when Teosyal is injected into the skin, it adds volume to support the dermis and correct wrinkles. Over time, the hyaluronic acid breaks down gradually and is absorbed into the skin, keeping it hydrated. What’s more, Teosyal gives the skin more flexible filling in areas of the face that move frequently, which is achieved through a combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and non-modified hyaluronic acid. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid resists breaking down longer in the skin, giving your patients lasting results, while the non-modified hyaluronic acid helps the filler to move within the dermis like natural hyaluronic acid.
