Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine is a sterile, transparent gel of stabilized hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin with the addition of 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride. Restylane with Lidocaine is supplied in a glass syringe with a luer-lock fitting. Restylane with Lidocaine is intended to be used for facial augmentation. It is recommended to be used for shaping the contours of the face, the correction of folds and for lip enhancement. It should be injected into the deep layer of the dermis and/or the surface layer of the subcutis. The addition of lidocaine provides a pain relieving effect during treatment. For facial areas with limited soft tissue support and soft tissue cover, e.g. the periorbital region, injection into the subcutaneous fatty tissue or supraperiostal administration are recommended. Restylane with Lidocaine will in time undergo isovolemic degradation, which means that the substance maintains its volume even during degradation. Restylane with Lidocaine is only intended to be administered by authorized personnel in accordance with local legislation.

What are the benefits of Restylane?

Restylane with Lidocaine is an injectable dermal filler for anti-aging cosmetic treatments. This clear gel is highly cross-linked to resist being broken down within your patient’s skin and lasts longer than non-cross-linked dermal fillers. Restylane  with Lidocaine has an added ingredient that other Restylane variants do not have: 0.3% lidocaine to act as an anesthetic to reduce pain and discomfort for your patients as they get their injections. Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine is a thicker formula than other Restylane dermal fillers, so it is the right choice for correcting deep wrinkles and creases and severe facial lines.

How does this product work?

As your patients age and are exposed to the sun and other environmental damage, they start to lose hyaluronic acid from their skin. Since hyaluronic acid usually hydrates the skin and transports nutrients, your patient’s skin starts to lose volume and get looser and saggier. This is when wrinkles form, and they only get deeper without doctor intervention. Restylane with Lidocaine reverses this aging process by re-introducing hyaluronic acid into your patient’s skin. When you inject Restylane with Lidocaine deep into your patient’s dermis, the hyaluronic acid plumps up to about a thousand times its size, adding lost volume to your patient’s skin and smoothing out lines and wrinkles.

How to inject/administer Restylane?

Treatment with Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine is a simple and quick procedure consisting of administering intradermal injections. It is important to follow all standard protocols (e.g. aseptic technique) and guidelines to deter cross-infection when performing this procedure.
To administer the injection, prepare the site of injection by sterilizing the area with an antiseptic. Prepare the prefilled syringe by attaching the supplied needle securely according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Some practitioners may opt to use a blunt cannula instead of a needle.
